For more than four generations, the Barbera family of Palermo, Sicily has been meticulously selecting the finest olives available each year to produce an assortment of extra virgin olive oils. Barbera's Frantoia Extra Virgin Olive Oil is obtained from cold pressing the best quality Sicilian olives: biancolilla, nocellara, erasuola originating in the surrounding areas of Partanna, Castelvetrano, Ribera, Sciacca and Trabia. This oil is characterized by its distinct personality, its typical aroma evocative of fresh fruit and its delicately fruity flavor that leaves an aftertaste of sweet almonds.
